Nazanin Zarepour is a writer, political theory researcher, editor, and artist based in Toronto, ON. 



Her multidisciplinary work is interested in locating radical alternative futures and avenues for political re-enchantment within the cultural landscapes of the world’s political underbellies. As a writer and editor, Nazanin’s artistic practice is interested in exploring ways to make text more agile, mobile, and disruptive through the use of print and large-format poetry.



They are co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Vermin – a critical magazine dedicated to centering the marginal and periphery, a researcher for the Deparochializing Political Theory project at the University of Toronto, as well as a member of the Briarpatch board of directors.  


Nazanin is an incoming PhD student of Comparative Literature at Cornell University, and holds a Master’s in Political Theory with a collaborative specialization in Critical Development Studies from the University of Toronto.
